The Manufacture de Porcelaine de Monaco was founded in 1972 by Erich Rozewicz with the support of Their Serene Highnesses Princess Grace of Monaco and Prince Rainier III of Monaco. The Manufacture de Porcelaine de Monaco initially entered the souvenir market with the ambition of moving upmarket and raising the general standard of objects offered to tourists. The company soon turned its attention to the high-end market for decorative items and made-to-measure tableware. In the 1970s and 80s, the company's blue kilnware collections, decorated with 24-carat gold, met with great success, with a notable breakthrough in Japan. Initially inspired by the stylization of the mosaics adorning the Prince's Palace, the decorations evolved into new creations as technical innovations progressed. This model features fish and seaweed, including two 24-carat gold-plated fish with handles. Good vintage condition. Measures: 14 / 18 / 24 cm 1 kg. See less
