A lovely antique teapot was custom-made into this one-of-a-kind lamp, which is perfectly paired to scale with a calico chintz lampshade in a delicate repeating floral pattern in dusty blue, dusty rose, and sage green on creamy white in a hexagon shape. The welding looks expertly done for a flawless finish. Only the very edges of the teapot's hallmark remain, having been drilled through for chord placement. It has been confirmed to be silver-plated.
Reading by the light of a teapot lamp would be a long cherished gift for a tea and book lover. A three-way switch allows the user to customize the light for a brighter or softer ambient effect.

Excellent vintage condition. The silver has been lightly polished to remove a heavy black tarnish but maintains plenty of patina that can be buffed to a much more brilliant shine if desired. A half-inch break in the lampshade binding along the upper rim is visible in the last photo, with no other flaws to note.
