Overall, the structure is sturdy and intact, with drawers that slide smoothly. The marble top shows a little surface wear and typical tiny chips along the rough back edge, but overall its in wonderful condition. The wooden case exhibits tonal variation, natural imperfections, and light wear, all commensurate with its age and use. There is a split on one side that is characteristic of commodes this age. The commode has been cleaned and touched up, where necessary. The inside of drawers have been cleaned and oiled and are ready to be filled.
