It has a hard cloth brown cover with gilt lettering. Content includes the authors: Walt Whitman, Edgar Allan Poe, James Russell Lowell, Francis Parkman, among others.

The pages have lovely "deckle" edges. Inside on the first page is a handwritten pencil note about friendship (see pic). Book contains some great photos, and even some old pressed leaves inside (sorry, I didn't see the leaves until after I photographed the book). All-in all this book is a delightful item which not only will prove to be a great read, but also a wonderful piece of shelf decor.

Book size: 7" height x 4 3/8" width x 1" thickness. It weighs 10oz.
