elegant, rare and early version of large counter balance pendant light, named keos, by florian schulz, made in germany in the 1970s. Out of production for decades.
the pendant lamp is adjustable in height from 31,5" to 60" ( 80cm to 150cm) by changing the height of the heavy brass sphere. The total length of the cable is 110" (280cm).
the construction is made of burnished brass, equipped with a black fabric cable, heavy brass ball counter-weight and brass dome.
the round conical shaped brass shade inside the brass dome makes this the perfect modernist style dining room table light.
the lamp is hand-crafted and made of extremely high quality (made in germany).
it has a distinctive character and minimalist charm.
the company florian schulz was founded in 1949 and closed in 2018.
lighting: takes one large edison e26/27 base screw bulb up to 100w.
