Direct from France, a very old and highly carved small end table with a lower shelf having a lift top Bible box.
Skillfully hand carved in the late 18th century, the wide aprons are carved on all sides, making this a perfect accent that can float in a room, between two throne chairs, and of course in a prayer room used as its original purpose, to store the family Bible.

The eight carved panels are complimented with thick turned pillar legs and turned bobbin feet. Large upper drawer for storage as well as the lower lift top compartment-two separate areas! Hand carved, dovetailed; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1790.

Measurements: 25.25” ht. x 24” x 17.5”.
Upper drawer interior, 4” ht. x 17” x 13.5”. Lower lift top compartment interior, 6.5” ht. x 20” x 14.25”.
