This set includes 10 small side plates (aka bread plates) in a classic ruby red coloring. The glass is thick, high quality and durable, made by Arcoroc in France. They have raised edges and a sleek shaping to their round bodies. Arcoroc introduced these pieces in 1963 as a tempered glass and became known for their durability. At 6 1/8” diameter their smaller size makes them perfect for serving bread or whatever side dish or snack you are cooking up…. a set perfect for a colorful, bold, mid century dining room.
