the desk is made up of two boxes, with drawers and high niches, resting on 6 rectangular legs.
the bottom of the desk can remain visible, so it could be used in the middle of a room.
the two boxes are connected by a panel which is inserted into the boxes using pins, everything was reinforced by the previous owners with flat metal brackets underneath.
the interior of the panel was painted a bright mustard yellow, to recall the seat of the chair.
the top was sanded, then oiled. The general patina has been preserved throughout, so defects may appear in places, marks and signs of wear in places (scratches, stains, and in particular a defect in the wood at the back). Please refer to the numerous photos.
the chair that goes with the desk looks very nice, the seat is quite “hard” since there is no foam on the seat. Mustard yellow velvet fabric.
