Check out the hand-carved basket weave design on the top edge of the table. It is newly refinished in a satin black lacquer. My grandmother had this table which she purchased in a shop in Los Angeles sometime in the mid-1950s. It has appropriate wear including minor scratches on the mirror. Can be used as a tea ceremony table. less
