This is a wonderful old book from the late 1900s - I can't actually find a date on it anywhere - but I've seen others from the "Chandos Poet" series incredibly similar to this one (in everything but content) that are all First Edition and date to this era. Inside it claims to be the most comprehensive book yet of Percy Bysshe Shelley's "out of copyright" poetry. It's certainly a thick tomb coming in at over 600 pages!

The book's cover is a wonderful dark red pictorial cloth stamped in black and gold on the front and spine panels, and in blind on the rear. Inside the pages have gilt edges and each page has a red line border. This book has wear and odd stains in places, but all-in-all the pages are intact. For a 130+ year old item I'd say it's in good condition. In fact its distressed aging just adds to its appeal.

Not only will this book be a wonderful read, but it will also make a great piece of shelf / office desk decor.

Book size: 7 3/4" height x 5 7/8" width x 1 5/8" thickness. It weighs 1lb 15oz.
