This Louis Philippe period commode or chest of drawers displays the exemplary craftsmanship of the early nineteenth century with figural burl walnut and solid walnut panel sides, and capped with a marble top. Having four drawers with bronze original hardware. Lending refinement to its surroundings with its simple lines and reverence to beauty, this chest would blend beautifully in all interiors, circa 1830-1848.
Beautiful antique condition with original finish.
