More of an … more Very cool authentic 1950s/60s Sputnik ceiling fixture with 16 arms and a center pierced metal downlight shade. More of an unusual style for a sputnik with a bit of an industrial flair. Would be fantastic in a kitchen setting! Body is a wheel & spoke design with arms that vary in length from 6 3/4"L to 9 3/4"L. Overall measurements are 23"L x 27 3/4"D (socket to socket, wider with bulbs). There is no manufacturers sticker on the original rounded ceiling canopy but this looks very similar to period Lightolier fixtures. The pierced metal downlight will cast subtle twinkly shadows downward, while also offering additional practical task lighting, if desired.

The finish on this was originally polished brass but was stripped & re-plated polished nickel. As that finish is considered "live" the piece has a more mellow antique nickel appearance. less
