This listing process insists that a piece have Some Imperfections; this chandelier has absolutely NO IMPERFECTIONS AT ALL.. All six lights work perfectly; the piece has never malfunctioned. It is well-suited to working on a dimmer switch, which gives a beautiful effect.

This beautiful piece was purchased in 1987 from Nesle Inc.(then located in mid-town NYC) and has followed me since, each time I’ve moved. It has worked beautifully with an eclectic mix of furnishings (including mid-century modern and Beidermeir), yet stands alone with balance and elegance. It is not overdone, cluttered with bits and pieces, or too ornate; rather, it provides grace and a reminder of a past aesthetic that lends itself to a varied decor.
When it is lit, the play of the light on the crystals and gilt iron arms is just beautiful and imparts a warm glow that provides surroundings with just enough interplay of light and shadow to compliment everything it touches. Especially noteworthy is the 3.5” crystal sphere at the base; all of the hanging crystals are in perfect condition.
This is not your grandma’s chandelier. less
