Swingarm 1960s high quality floor lamp in leather with parchment dome shade creating a warm light. The hand made drum shade in parchment leather is bind with leather borders, connected by brass elements to the base. The Leather covered foot and stem is connected to the brass swingarm. The lamp holds two E27 light bulbs. The lamp Designed by Charlotte Wawer 1960-70's holds the company label. Charlotte Wawer started designing lamps in Danzig, but she had to flee the city in 1945 and rebuilt her business in Osterode. The company, Charlotte Wawer Wohnraumleuchten, with about 50 employees, produced lampshades and lamps, characterized by a rich use of leather and parchment. The company was run by Charlotte, who designed all objects, and her husband Clemens.
