Technically, it's a Victorians dressing table, with it's (2) large bird's-eye maple lined drawers & (4) smaller top drawers it would make an excellent modern day dresser. Solid walnut construction, yet embellished with eye-catching burled walnut veneers. The large top drawer has a wooden escutcheon, the original brass lock and key. All (4) smaller drawers are lined in a birds-eye maple maole veneer and have their original Victorian wood/brass drawer pulls (see Pic.)
The design is fanciful Victorian with the center convex medallion, carved chain motif, orbital wooden finials, Corinthian columns, and scrolled center finial. The original pink marble has routered edges that add elegance and ease of installation. The (3) marble pieces easily come out for transportation.
