A relic of mid-century modern innovation and design. These Artex Green are a thing of beauty and extremely hard to come by- in this style that is. Unlike your foldable TV dinner tray these petit tables stack on top of one another to give more space, or can be put side-by side to spread out. They are delicate, but sturdy. Small in design put stand out due to their bold vibrant color. Beautiful deep red with gold accents. Dark wood finish with your quintessential mid-mod leg and cold protector on the bottom.
Made by Brooklyn based Artex Tables became all the rage as "TV dinners" grew in popularity during the 1950's. Artex was the brand to have, sold in small gift shops in NY and then across the country.
This item is extremely rare and hard to come by. I am open to receive offers but will stay pretty firm to the list price.
