A three seater sofa from Folke Ohlsson for Swedish Dux. Teakwood, upholstery in wear condition, frame in very good condition. Spindles were re-laid and re-glued by professional mid-century modern furniture shop OLEK in August 2020. Receipt for work supplied upon sale along with wood worker's guarantee for quality and longevity of the work. The sofa was purchased by our family in 2016 from a small furniture store specializing in mid-century modern in Philadelphia and we have kept in excellent condition over the last 5 years.

Folke Ohlsson was born in 1919 Sweden and passed away in 2003. In 1953 Ohlsson moved to Atherton, California and established his company DUX, Inc. in San Francisco. Over the years his work has received world-wide attention for his furniture designs which are known as Scandinavian Modern.
Ohlsson received more than 30 awards in his lifetime. less
