The subject (Cathedral of Christ the Saviour of Moscow) is painted in minute detail over an iridescent shell background. Although the surface of this little box is only 1 x 2 inches, every detail is captured.

Measurements: Height 1", Width 2", Depth 1 1/2"

Condition: This piece is in excellent vintage condition. The underside shows minimal signs of wear and use, and minor crazing underneath the lacquer, but the rest of the piece is free from cracks or damage. The gold border is crisp, and the painting on the top is in pristine condition. The piece is signed on the bottom in gold letters.
