Erich Dieckmann Bauhaus armchair made of beech and paper cord was made in Germany in the 1920s to 1930s.
Alongside Marcel Breuer, Erich Dieckmann is considered the most important furniture designer of the Bauhaus in Weimar and Dessau. The typical Dieckmann features are clearly present. Here in the very rare high-back version. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
