This really is a Great Looking Antique Solid Brass & Cast Iron Doctors - Medical Students Microscope. Circa Very Early 1900s. The Microscope itself has No Markings but Both the Upper Viewing Lens and the Lower Lens are Marked Bausch & Lomb Optical. This is a Very Good Quality Microscope and Would have Been Expensive When it was Originally Sold. It has 2 Focus Adjustments - One ( Double Wheel ) for Standard and One Single Wheel on the Riser for Fine Tuning the Focus. It still has its Original Double Sided Mirrored Glass Light Reflectors ( One Flat and One Slightly Concave ). I have Every Reason to Believe that it is Still Functional. It is in Very Good All Original Cosmetic Condition - Nice Aged Patina and Color to the Brass - Displays Nicely!. This would make a Very Interesting and Unique Decorator Item.
It Measures Overall ( When Extended as Used )
Approx 12 inches Tall x 5 1/2 inches Long x 3 3/4 inches Wide.
Approx 11 inches Tall when Collapsed.
