Rewired for American use with five candelabra based sockets that can house either LED's or incandescent bulbs. In good condition with some polished old chips on the rim of the small center glass, panel w/ tiny air bubble, mold mark, miniscule imperfections- all barely noticeable or hidden by the frame and commensurate with age and use. Slight mottling of original brass finish.

An original French Art Deco signed chandelier featuring four pointed arch shaped molded and frosted art glass panels of stylized floral motif intersected by clear vertical bands, along with an original matching small square molded center glass. signed by Hettier Vincent.
The whole is supported by a polished bronze armature with a stepped canopy and a decorative geometric finial. Four tubular bars with a decorative fluted surround, and wing-like stepped and angular arms extend outward to complete the design. The architectural panels jut upward and outward in an unusual star shape.
Hettier-Vincent was a company created in 1920's, headquartered at 10 rue de Turenne in Paris.
In 1929, Hettier- Vincent opened a prestigious shop on the famous Place des Vosges in the heart of the capital.
Hettier-Vincent was the top end of the market offering their lamps to the Parisian upper-class.
Their bases and fixtures were made of bronze or wrought iron. The shades were made by the greatest French glassworks of the Art Deco period, namely : Holophane (Les Andelys), Verlys Des Hanots, Muller Freres and Cristalleries de Baccarat just to name a few.
