Beautiful sculpture made entirely by hand, it is not ceramic cast on a mold, but clay modeled by hand then glazed and majolica on the hair, also all made by hand, strand after strand. Depicting a nude female torso in full Deco style. The sculpture has a lightly satin finish on the body and richly vitrified on the hair, creating a wonderful visual contrast. The work is numbered under the base and signed by the Austrian Goldscheider manufacture. Sculpture created by Adolf Prischl around 1937. In our opinion the sculptor, in creating this work, was inspired by the Venus de Milo, one of the most famous Greek statues, preserved in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
In the last photo we have placed the sculpture present in the Goldscheider general catalog published by Arnoldsche under number 7936, a number also present under our sculpture. This piece has an attribution mark,
