The Adams Co. was founded in 1883 and, among other things, is known for its production of decorative cast iron pieces for the home.
This set has some age on it, though we are not exactly certain of the age. The Arts and Crafts style finials were finished to look like aged brass, but they are iron. The set includes a poker, a shovel, a broom and tongs on a very solid, sturdy stand.
The finish is original and can be left alone or repainted as you wish. less
