Although … Read more A vintage set of six (6) lustrous mother-of-pearl handled 'fruit' forks with decorative embossed silver-plate collars at the ferrules. Although they would have been known originally as fruit forks, these are also well-sized for serving other smaller foods including seafood cocktail, appetizers, sweets, etc. Their classic elegance will surely elevate any dining service.

Although the fork tines appear as if they are silver plate, they don't tarnish and are therefore more likely to be stainless. No markings are evident.

The forks come set into the original fitted black leather presentation case lined in dark blue velvet and white satin with brass-toned clasp and hinges on the case.
