A family heirloom, monogrammed GW who was our grandmother Geneva Watson married Graham from Salt Lake City. She was the granddaughter of George Benjamin Wallace (born in Massachusetts) one of the first Mormon Pioneers-one of the Captain of 50 to settle in Salt Lake City on the 29th of September 1847. He also received appointments from the President of Mormon Church-Brigham Young, and he served as the president of High Priests Quorum in Salt Lake stake.
This is an exquisite sterling silver epergne dishes, manufactured around 1910 by maker Webster Co. of North Attleboro-Massachusetts. Beautiful, intricate, floral silver-work.
This set consists of 6 smaller baskets/bowls and one central bigger basket/bowl. Total 7 pieces.
Each piece is hallmarked by the silversmith maker Webster Co.
An epergne may be used to hold any type of food or dessert. It may also be used as a designer object to hold candles, flowers or ornaments for a holiday. In traditional use, an epergne is a fancy way to display side dishes, fruit, or sweetmeats; it can be used for chips, dips, or other finger foods.

Each small bowl is 3 inches in diameter and 2 inches high.

Condition: Excellent antique. Some silver tarnish inherent with pure silver. Set was not used in more than 50 years, therefore needs a thorough cleaning.
