Since 1890, Virginia Metalcrafters and its predecessors were synonymous with fine craftsmanship and design. Beginning in 1938 until they closed in 2006, they produced historic reproduction items from the collections of The Smithsonian, Mount Vernon, Historical Charleston, Old Sturbridge Village, Colonial Williamsburg and Historical Newport. They became well known around the world for the fine quality of the items they produced.
This 8-arm pewter chandelier is late Jacobean or early Georgian in style and appears to be a rare adaptation from an original in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. Its design and size make it perfect for a breakfast room or casual dining area, study, or foyer. It comes with its original 8" chain and ceiling cap,. We also provide hanging hardware. and can supply at no cost one foot of closely-matching (but not original) chain at no charge, if the 8" original chain is too short. less
