This is a Great Looking Authentic Vintage Maine Apple Farm Crate. Circa Approx 1940s. It Comes from the Down East Coastal State of Maine Region. This Heavy Duty Carrier would have been used in the Apple Groves and and Farm Stand Sales during the Picking Season. It would have Also been Used to Ship and Deliver Apples to Grocers, Cider Mills, Etc. It is Constructed out Some Sort of Hard Pressed Composition Board with Steel Hardware. It has Richly Colored Graphics on All Four Sides. It is in Excellent All Original Condition with a Wonderful Naturally Aged Patina - Displays Beautifully. It is Strong- Sound and Perfectly Usable for Whatever Purposes you Have in Mind.
It Measures 10 3/4 inches Tall x 11 1/4 inches Long x 10 inches Wide..
