A hand colored stipple engraving by Francesco Bartolozzi, 1728–1815 after Angelica Kauffman RA (1741-1807). The scene depicts Cupid being disarmed by Euphrosine, Goddess of Good Cheer, Joy, and Mirth. Presented glazed in an oval gilt frame with a beaded inner edge and lozenge moulding to the outer edge. Inscribed with the names of both artists in plate. On laid.
Condition:
The print is in good condition with presumed fading, but nice even color and no damage to paper. The frame has some missing pieces of the molding please see pictures.
