Over eight feet tall, this grand-scaled reproduction Victorian library cabinet features antiqued brass hardware, moveable ladder and adjustable shelves. Warm tobacco-toned oak with a lustrous satin finish, inside and out, it has smooth sliding drawers, heavy, solid doors, and beautifully antiqued bronze hardware. Perfect for an Academia/Sherlock Holmes inspired library. Refined scale, proportion and detail. Rock solid.

Condition is very good/excellent, with minor wear that integrates with the aged patina of the finish. The maker is unknown but this is in the style of boutique manufacturers of the 1990's and early 2000's such as Furniture Classics, Ltd.

The unit comes in several pieces - the crown, the upper bookcase, base cabinet, and ladder. It's very heavy.
