Stunning highly sought and collectable Danish teak nightstand designed by the architectural and furniture design firm team of Peter Hdvit and Olga Mølgaard Nielsen circa late 1950’s , the golden era of Danish Teak furniture production. As you can see from the photo of the underside of the nightstand, it was imported by John Stuart who was the great champion of getting danish furniture designs into the US mainstream and a fantastic designer and producer of MCM furniture himself. This was a very expensive piece when it was initially made for sale. This is the real deal and worth having in your home if you are a lover of Danish MCM furniture. The Craftsmanship is exquisite featuring solid Teak construction throughout including the backside. Knife edge border, and finger jointed detail at the bottom joint are elegant touches that make this piece elegant and well crafted.
This piece is an excellent condition with only the most minor blemishes. I took several high-quality close-up photos in natural light so please refer to them for condition. I do my very best to exhibit condition through photos
