Founded in 1830 by jeweler, Charles Christofle, the company has reigned supreme in producing entirely handmade luxury goods. One of Christofle's first clients was the French King, Louis-Philippe I, who ordered a full service for his vacation home, the Chateau d'Eu in Normandy. In addition, Christofle has produced pieces for the Orient Express, Hotel Ritz Paris, and Karl Lagerfeld. To this day, Christofle continues its tradition of excellence.
