These chairs are of the highest quality having been produced by The Old Hickory Furniture Company at some point during the 20th century. Originally these chairs would have cost far more than what we are currently offering them for. We feel that these chairs are perfect for a collector looking to acquire comfortable and affordable armchairs with all the premium construction and high style of an expensive pair of antique chairs. The form of these chairs makes for a cozy and relaxing resting place situated in a formal interior. Both chairs are in wonderful condition with only the most minimal signs of prior use and staining so inconspicuous that it is hardly worth noting. The frames are strong and reliable with cherry curved arms and shell carved Queen Anne legs. The upholstered fabric is of premium quality with lovely raised embroidery work throughout. The chairs feature curved and rounded seat and crest rails which provide a further degree of comfort that most contemporary chairs are lacking. These chairs each measure 25 3/4" wide x 21 1/2" deep x 36" tall overall. The seat height from the ground up is 20" tall while the height of the arms off the floor is 27 1/2" tall. less
