This piece is made in Vetro Nero a Macchie de Salto Bianco and is one of his Fantasy Pieces. Seguso made a few different versions, three were sitting hunting dogs. This one in particular is rare and difficult to find. The piece still has the original label where it says ARCHIMEDES SEGUSO
Archimedes Seguso sculpted a line of animals from solid fused glass during the 1950s (always an animal lover). The technique is called Massello and its animals are from the Fantasy series. This piece has an attribution mark,
