Stunning mid-century round "cocoon" chandeliers designed by achille castilglioni and produced in italy during the 1960s. This stunning cocoon is in spectacular condition and with an amazing beige even patina which makes it incredibly charming. When lit the effect is simply spectacular, with a soft and warm welcoming effect. The unique shape with the curved lines that intertwine along the sphere add a dynamic, sculptural effect, making the chandelier visually appealing even when turned off. The pendant comes wired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards, it uses a single e26/27 light bulb. The surface of this chandelier is made from a special synthetic resin, sprayed onto the metal structure and then solidified, creating a matte, velvety texture. This chandelier is perfect for modern and minimalist spaces, where it serves as both a source of light and a decorative piece, exemplifying castiglioni's innovative and functional style and the unique aesthetics of 1960s italian design.
