The surface painting looks a lot like enameling. This exquisite serving piece was made by Johann Haviland of Bavaria, Germany during 1907-1924. Backstamp reads: "Echt Haviland Cobalt, Johann Haviland, Bavaria. Hand molerel, 01347, 39." Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Diameter=12 inches, Height from top to bottom=3 inches. This marvelous Johann Haviland pedestal serving/center bowl has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition, free from chips, cracks, losses or other imperfections.
