This magnificent portrait painting by Polish Artist Eva Matysek is a stunning example of contemporary impressionism with abstract elements. The large framed piece sits beautifully in its original gold gilt carved wood frame with linen border, measuring 31 inches in height by 27 inches in length, with 2 1/2 inches in depth, and is ready to hang. This masterpiece is signed by the artist in right front corner " E. Maytsek". An exceptionally gifted artist, the portrait features a wonderful mix of varying shades of colors, measuring 20 inches in height by 16 inches in length. This one-of-a-kind oil painting on canvas is sure to make a great addition to any home & or art collection.
Eva Matysek Mazur, Nee Konieczna was born in Warsaw, Poland. She holds an M.A. with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she studied art conservation and painting. She is a well known artist in Los Angeles & Warsaw and a leading conservator of fine art. Her works are collected & exhibited worldwide. She is quite accomplished. She has been recognized for not only her paintings with many awards & exhibitions, but for her many restoration projects too. In 1994, she was hired by the Wrigley family to restore the original murals of the Avalon Theatre in the Catalina Casino. less
