- The frame shows wear to the paint, shrinkage in corners, 2 drill holes on either side that have been filled … moreThe frame shows wear to the paint, shrinkage in corners, 2 drill holes on either side that have been filled with putty (someone had it drilled into the wall at some point instead of using the wire). The colors are vibrant. There is some craquelure (a pattern of fine cracks that can appear on the surface of oil paintings, caused by the aging process of the paint) in one of the white areas on the painting (see last photo).
