Inspired … more This pair of two-tiered walnut end tables was produced in the late 1950's as part of Lane's Esteem Collection. Inspired by Danish Modern design, they are constructed so that the tops appear to "float" above the legs. Both feature gorgeous wood grain, tapered legs, and curved tops and stretchers.

The tables have been completely refinished and are in excellent vintage condition. Please view photos carefully for a detailed look at these items.

"The Scandinavian influence is unmistakeable in this lightly scaled walnut collection that gives the illusion of tops suspended inches above the legs. Legs and stretchers are sculptured in the Danish fashion and the edges of the tops are feathered out in a thin, upswept contour. Sides are gently bowed in keeping with the sculptured character of the design. Impressively figured in American Walnut in the tops is accented with borders and rubbed to Lane's handsome gunstock finish." less
