Bill Sofield’s suites of furniture for Baker focuses on Art Deco’s “functional definition of beauty.” Sofield channeled French furniture maker and interior designer Armand-Albert Rateau’s segmented reed motif for the Gracie nightstand, mixing walnut with an oyster grey marble top and a white gold-leaf shell handle.
