This is a Great Looking Vintage Cast Iron Figurative Cocker Spaniel Dog Doorstop. Circa Approx 1930s. It is Not Signed but is Documented in The Doorstop Book as a "Cocker Spaniel - Full Figure Model #487" ( Book Value $450 to $550 ) Produced by The Hubley Manufacturing Company USA. Hubley also Produced a Much Smaller Version of this Doorstop but this Larger Size Model is Scarce. It is Quite Heavy Weighing Just a Bit Under 7 Pounds. It Still Retains it All Original Hubley Foundry Hand Painted Features. It is in Very Good All Original Condition and Displays Nicely. It has Some Light Age and Use Wear - Paint Somewhat is Weathered Giving it that Authentic Old Look. No Damage - No Repairs. It is Absolutely Guaranteed to be Original and Vintage as Stated.
