Italian designer, Mauro Manetti began his career working for design agencies and furniture manufacturers in Italy. He then founded his own design studio in 1977, where he continued to develop projects in the field of lighting, furniture and decorative accessories.

During his career, Mauro Manetti has won numerous prestigious awards for his designs, including the Compasso d'Oro in 1987 and 1994. His works are exhibited in museums around the world, such as MoMA in New York, the Center Pompidou in Paris and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
