In reimagining this functional, every day object, denton’s creation appears both delicate and grounded, dancing between lightness and solidity. A tactile and intriguing artwork that would work well in a range of settings, or displayed individually.

denton studied art in the uk and has recently returned after a long stint in the usa where he exhibited and was commissioned widely. One of his larger works is on display as a piece of public art in the franklin district of nashville.
