Arne Bang (1901-1983) was a Danish sculptor and ceramic designer. Bang was a trained sculptor and made sculptures in the public space. It is as a designer of stoneware, silver and tin that he is known nationally and internationally. In 1929, Arne Bang got a job at Holmegaard Glasværk, where he started and was responsible for the production of Holmegaards Stentøj. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
