This is a handsome antique oak desk which dates to the Victorian era.
It is a distinctive looking piece which … more This is a handsome antique oak desk which dates to the Victorian era.
It is a distinctive looking piece which is perfect for use in an office or home study.
The desk is solid and fairly heavy but has the benefit of splitting into three parts, making it easy to transport and position in any room.
The front is fitted with an arrangement of nine spacious drawers which are carved and finished with ornate green man handles.
The top of the desk is inset with a piece of aged black leather.
The wood has a darkly stained finish which has been cleaned and waxed.
CONDITION
The desk is in solid structural condition with many cosmetic marks and wear to the finish commensurate with age and use.
There is a repaired tear to the leather, as shown.
One of the pedestals has a split in the wood at the top, this is not visible when the desk top is in place.
