This is a Exceptionally Beautiful & Very Fine Quality pair of Antique French Made Opera Glasses - Binoculars. Circa Approx 1890s. They have the Added Feature of a Telescoping Handle for Viewing Purposes. NOTE That the Handle has a Hold Mechanism so that it Can be Adjusted and Used When Extended at Any Length ( Will Stay in Place ). They are signed by the Well Documented - Premier Paris France Maker "LEMAIRE" - FAB - PARIS on the Genuine Mother of Pearl - Shell Eye Pieces. The Bodies, Handle and Rotating Focus Wheel are Also Laminated with Beautiful Genuine High Grade Rainbow Mother of Pearl. They are Made out of Fancy Embossed Brass with a Fine Gold Gilt Finish. They are in Excellent Cosmetic and Functional Condition - Display Beautifully. By the way I Have Also Personally Cleaned the Internal Lenses to Maximize the Optics. They Display Beautifully as a Unique Decorator Item as Well!
