This bowl is in excellent … more Wonderful footed hand-thrown bowl by listed Florida artist/sculptor/potter Frank Colson, featuring a Neolithic fish pattern. This bowl is in excellent condition with no issues to report. The glaze and color are as rich as they were when it was made. This bowl came from a high-end estate in Jacksonville, FL to a couple that were artists and art collectors. Their house was filled with high-end masterpieces by some of the region’s best artists. In 1960, Frank came to Sarasota, FL and never left, opening a ceramics school and dotting the city with his large sculptures. He passed away in 2015. Bowl measures: 8" diameter x 4" tall. less
