Description: A very nice desk, being upright in design, French, circa the third quarter of the 19th century. The paneled front … more A very nice desk, being upright in design, French, circa the third quarter of the 19th century. The paneled front drops down for writing and gives access to the interior and the enclosed assortment of drawers and display areas. Made of Walnut and Pine this piece has six pull knobs to three exterior drawers and five smaller interior drawers with pull knobs. There is one larger interior drawer with key. The fall front has two supports a brass escutcheon and key.
