Everything during the restoration was strictly by the old school standards, where things were meant to last for decades and not just a free years. Old Plank has been faithfully restoring French Leather Club Chairs for over 30-years. We strip the chairs down to the wood skeleton frame and start tying the coil springs in 8-directions by hand. Nothing is left for chance and that is why each Club Chair requires 40-hours in our upholstery department and a further 12-20-hours in our finishing department since we dye our own leather hides.
