Beginning as a response by younger European artists to Realism and Industrialization, Symbolism explores the mystical and subconscious and the bridge between the physical and spiritual world. This is a bridge worth exploring today, as many of us are looking for answers to the ineffable. The former owner of this book was the late John Iacovelli, a multi-award-winning Production Designer and Art Director. He won an Emmy for Peter Pan.
