A large and impressive painting with three dimensional texture. The canvas has been covered with thick impasto like raised lines that create texture as well as the image of a face.
We titled the artwork "The Face."
The face itself is somewhat hidden in the abstract lines that create a modern and edgy composition. The paint has been painted onto the ridges of the raised lines in white, silver, red, black and a touch of yellow.
It is unframed and does not really to be. It is stretched on its original wood stretcher.
The backside reveals the artist's cursive signature.
